Ava James vancouver leaked onlyf on twitter, Teaching assistant warned on reddit

A BC teaching assistant found out her job was in jeopardy because of her OnlyFans page.

The 35-year-old Port Coquitlam resident unexpectedly received an electronic desist letter from her employer at a Vancouver-area high school last Friday morning.

The email was addressed to Kristin MacDonald, but was actually aimed at “Ava James,” her alter ego on OnlyFans, a popular social media platform that allows users to Sell original content, including pornographic content, to paid subscribers.

“You are directed to immediately cease all activity and delete all online social media accounts, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and OnlyFans,” the high school’s email said.

“Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal.”

MacDonald has been creating adult content for OnlyFans under the name Ava James since July 2022, powering Instagram and TikTok Pages. As a single mother, her part-time job at OnlyFans provides her young daughter with some much-needed extra income. She is currently unable to work due to frequent back injuries.

“As an educational assistant, I’m not well paid,” MacDonald told the Daily Hive on Friday, hours after receiving the suspension notice.

MacDonald has been with the Coquitlam School District since 2015, specializing in serving children and young adults with special needs. As of Thursday, MacDonald (who was not named in this article at the request of MacDonald) had not been disciplined or expelled from high school. Macdonald’s current professional crisis sheds light on the legal and ethical dilemmas that have resulted from combining her educational work with her independent work as a sex worker.
