On September 4 2022, Brandt Adam Barker died at the age of 34 in his Riverside home. Born at Kaiser Fontana hospital on December 11 1987, Brandt grew up in Fontana, California. While attending South Tamarind Elementary School, FOJAY and FOHI, he grew up in Fontona. Brandt was one of a kind; you immediately knew it when you met him. He had a huge presence and an even bigger personality. He always made people laugh and was often unintentionally funny. Above all else, Brandt cared for others and made anyone he was around feel special. After years passed, he returned to school to obtain his GED.
Brandt had many goals; after completing woodworking classes and electrician school, he signed up for classes at Riverside Community College. For 16 to 17 years, Brandt worked for Cash Printing and Famous Stars & Straps. Recently, he got a job at Big 5 Distribution Warehouse. Brandt Wood loved his family more than anything else in the world. He spent countless hours at the gym, working in his garage and trying to catch the biggest fish. However, none of these activities were possible without listening to his favorite music through his speakers. Brandt also enjoyed bowling a perfect game; he believed that music was necessary for an enjoyable experience. Brandt spent most of his time with his sister, mother, baby niece and brother-in-law. Recently, he’s expressed how much he loves being an uncle through constant mention of his pride.
The day before he died, he stated, “I’m surprised by how much this little baby has improved our family’s days. There is less arguing and everything just seems better.”
It’s hard to say goodbye to Brandt; he was extremely loved and missed.
Brandt’s family members include his mother Randalai, his sister Kellsey, also known as Bret Bendixen, and his pets Mowgli and Buddie. His other siblings are Kevin Waters and Joshua Mettler; he was also close to his grandparents Gene Pietila and Mary Barker as well as aunts Denise, Michael Davis, Katie, Chuck Marshall, Tamara Barker, Kourtney Barker, Steve Nelson and Jerry Swigart.
PuppyPuppy the beagle and Chaddy the pig died before him. Additionally, both of his grandmothers Gloria Marie Barker and Kathleen Pietila passed away.
