Who is Jan Pigman-Kruse’s husband, Christopher?

JAN Pigman-Kruse was found shot dead in the early morning hours of August 19, 2015. Pigman-Kruse is survived by her husband and daughters Christopher and Bailey Kruse. Christopher Kruse, a native of Worthington, Minnesota, is the husband of the late Jan Pigman-Kruse.

Chris met Jane when she graduated from Worthington Community College. On October 7, 1995, Jane and Chris were married. Five years later, the pair welcomed their first and only daughter, Bailey Kruse.

Christopher Kruse became widely known after being named the prime suspect in the 2015 murder of his wife. Around 2:30 am on August 19, 2015, Christopher heard a loud bang.

After being suddenly awakened by noise, he found his wife had been shot dead by an unknown intruder in their Brewster, Minnesota, home. In March 2019, Chris Kruse was charged with the first-degree murder of his wife. Two 12-gauge shotgun casings matching Kruse’s shotgun were found at the scene.

However, after an eight-day trial involving 41 witnesses and 12 hours of jury deliberation, Crews was acquitted on February 13, 2020. NBC’s Dateline has released a 2-hour episode of Jane’s Dead 2020 featuring Chris.

The network will rerun the episode on NBC at 7:00 pm ET on March 19, 2023 during Dateline Weekend NBC. After Cruise was acquitted of his wife’s murder, he moved back to Worthington with his daughter.

Cruise has kept his personal life private since the trial, but his daughter has made some strides in life following her mother’s death. Bailey Kruse graduated from Worthington High School in 2018 and is now a student at the University of Minnesota, Rochester. She also participated in the Worthington ice hockey program for 12 years.
