Dale Dahmen dead and obituary, Bloomington murder-suicide identified

The Hennepin County coroner has identified the two men who died in a suspected murder-suicide in Bloomington. The first victim was identified as 55-year-old Dale Kenneth Dahmen of Buffalo. He died of a gunshot wound to the head and his death was ruled manslaughter, according to a report released by the coroner.

The second victim was identified in the report as Dominick Kenneth Dahmen, 25, of Buffalo. He died from multiple gunshot wounds and his death was ruled manslaughter. Earlier this week, Bloomington Police Chief Booker Hodges said two of those killed were a father and son.

The identity of the third man who died in the suspected murder-suicide has not yet been established. Police were called to the France Place parking lot in Bloomington at around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday to reports of a collapsed person in a pickup truck.

When police arrived, they found three people dead in the truck, all with gunshot wounds. Police said the third man was a business associate. Hodges added that those involved “appear to have some financial business dealings”. There is no danger to the public and police are investigating.
