The deaf community paid tribute today to TikToker Imogen “Deaf Immy” Nunn, following news that the content creator had died at the age of 25.
Immy has amassed more than 723,000 followers on TikTok and 15,000 on Instagram, gaining a large following for her humorous and supportive videos about deaf awareness and mental health.
Recalling her “beautiful” Amy, mum Louise Nunn wrote on social media: “The strongest, bravest, kindest, most loving person you could ask for is now an angel in heaven, just Like she used to be.” Right here on this earth.
“It’s the most painful thing I’ve ever written, but I know Immy Nunn or Immy the Deaf is loved by a lot of people.”
In a post on Instagram, her beloved partner Becky added: “I’m so sorry for your pain and I can’t take it away from you. I’m so proud of your fight and I just Hope you are safe now.
“I am so happy to have you in my life. You made me fall in love again, you made me so happy. You are the most beautiful, strong, caring, caring person I have ever met.
“We’ll meet again. This isn’t goodbye. Goodbye baby.”
