During the 2021-22 outdoor season, Rojco demonstrated her mettle in the 400-meter hurdles at prestigious events. Notable achievements include a commendable third-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles at the Holy Cross Invitational, clocking in at an impressive 1:05.50. She continued her stellar performance, securing third place in the same event at the UMass Invitational with a time of 1:06.05 and repeating the feat with a time of 1:06.07.

The indoor season saw Rojco’s versatility shine as she competed in the 4×400 meter relay at various meets. At the Blue & Orange Invitational, she secured fifth place in the 400-meter dash, completing it in 1:01.59.

Rojco’s journey in track and field commenced at Salem High School, where she earned nine letters and made substantial contributions to the 4×400 meter relay records in both indoor and outdoor track. Her leadership qualities were evident as she captained the indoor and outdoor track teams during her junior and senior years. Notably, she clinched the State Championship in the 100-meter hurdles and received the team MVP title throughout high school.

Beyond her athletic achievements, Rojco is a recipient of various awards, including the Integrated Science Award, History Award, Engineering Award, and Intermediate Spanish Award. Her academic prowess is further underscored by her membership in the National Honor Society and the National Spanish Honor Society.

As she continues her academic journey with an intended major in Neuroscience, Ecaterina Rojco stands as a testament to the seamless integration of academic excellence and athletic prowess.
