Ferne McCann has broken her silence after she was accused of making disparaging remarks about victims of an acid attack by her former partner Arthur Collins in a series of voice messages. In a statement shared on Instagram on Tuesday, the 32-year-old former TOWIE star acknowledged that she was the voice in the shocking audio files…but claimed she was only out of fear of “serious harm and facing major threat” and record them.

“I know people will have many questions about the voice messages that have been released and allegedly sent by me,” she wrote in full. “I did this to protect myself from serious harm!” Ferne McCann admits she is the person in the latest shocking voice recording… but claims she received “significant threats” for saying “something I don’t believe”.
“I feel like I have no choice but to address these issues (to the best of my ability, as I have limitations, which I explain below). Apologizes to all victims of his actions, allowing them to relive that night and the pain that followed as it re-enters the public domain.

“Even so, I said something that wasn’t true and I didn’t believe it – but I did it to protect my family and myself from serious harm and in the event of a significant threat.” Amid the conflict, he shared a series of cryptic posts with his 170,000 followers.
The businessman shared a quote on his Instagram Story about “struggle,” followed by another about “being patient for happiness.” His post previously claimed Ferne made disparaging comments about victims of former partner Arthur’s acid attack in a series of leaked voice recordings, claiming to be her voice.
The audio clips are not the first to circulate on the internet, as the reality star has previously been accused of assaulting and humiliating his boyfriend Sam Fairs. Lorri posts a series of stories on Instagram that consist of graphic designed quotes.
