American rap artist Hurricane G was of Puerto Rican descent; his stage name is Gloria Rodríguez. He released the 1997 song “Somebody Else” as his single release by Billboard Magazine, which placed at #10 on the Hot Rap Singles chart. Additionally, it charted at #54 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart.

She was born in Brooklyn, New York City. As the first female member of the Hit Squad, she has made guest appearances on albums by Keith Murray, Redman, Xzibit, Funkdoobiest, Delinquent Habits and the Cocoa Brovaz. Additionally, she has appeared on Puff Daddy’s track “P.E.” Gladys Presley’s 1997 album All Woman was supposed to be her debut, but it was delayed for over 15 years.

Lexus Hurricane G’s daughter with Erick Sermon of EPMD fame is named after the storm.

Hurricane G died on November 6, 2022.
