Rhea C. Birch. On January 17, 2013, a 95-year-old man from Wilmington, Delaware passed away peacefully at the age of 95.
Rhea and her husband, Stanley, have owned and operated the Stanley Plumbing and Heating Company for over 60 years. She is very proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoys spending time with them and attending their special events.
Rhea died in 2008 after 67 years of marriage to her husband Stanley. Additionally, her parents, Herbert and Rhea Merrill Lawrence, and several siblings are deceased. She is survived by daughter Rhea Birch Markwood in Lake George, NY, and son Jack Birch (Beverly) in Wilmington. Her grandchildren Deb Markwood, Jim Markwood (Holly), Kristin Birch White (Bill), Karen Birch Klemaszewski (Mike), Jack Birch (Danna); their great-grandchildren Ryan, Nathan and Justin Markwood, Gillian and Evan Klemaszewski, Nicolas and Travis White, and Kayla and Logan Birch. Rhea’s sister, Marjorie Roe, and several nieces and nephews were also survived.
Church services and funerals are private in order to accommodate their wishes.
