Jackson started playing guitar at age 12. His band, the Sapphire, rocked the Southwestern Middle School dance with songs by Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, Van Halen and Ratt. After attending Miami University in Oxford, OH, he played music by James Taylor, Cat Stevens, Tom Petty, U2, Pearl Jam and honed his cover- gig skills playing parties and bars around campus. Jackson chose to pursue a full-time musical career after attending law school for just a short time in his hometown of Buffalo, NY. He has released over 4,000 gigs and 7 original albums as a professional solo acoustic performer.

Jackson was a popular performer that regularly played cover gigs across the Midwest and East Coast. He also performed at original clubs and festivals, as well as private parties. Jackson’s songs “Rio,” “Gasoline and Matches,” “One More 4th Of July,” “The Old Me” and “Bleeding” were in regular rotation at small/medium market Adult Contemporary and HOT AC radio stations. While performing at these locations, he learned many familiar tunes for cover performances. Jackson is an impressive vocalist with a wide range of options for performing. Because of his vocal range, he encouraged audiences to sing along during his cover performances. He gained a large fanbase due to his ability to appeal to everyone. As a result, people flooded into his shows with requests ready! He enjoys putting smiles on people’s faces by playing whatever they want.

Jackson, a Florida dad with a private show schedule, spends less time on tour. He now spends more time planning shows in NW Florida. If Jackson needs to travel for one of his events, he will do so with enough notice.
