Jennie Jawhar obituary and dead, Grande Prairie, Alta. Born in Halifax death

At the age of 26, from Timberlea, Jennie Jawhar passed away on October 31, 2022, in Grande Prairie, Alta. Born in Halifax, she was the beloved daughter of Amine and Roula Jawhar, born on August 15, 1996. Jennie held her family and friends in the highest regard, considering them the center of her world. A free spirit with a beautiful soul, she left an indelible mark on those who knew her. Jennie’s sense of humor and her ability to bring smiles to everyone’s faces will be cherished by her friends and family. Known for her thoughtfulness, she always prioritized others over herself. Those close to her will remember her unwavering commitment to protecting her loved ones, even if it meant getting her hands dirty in a physical confrontation. An animal lover at heart, Jennie readily took in stray dogs and cats, displaying her love and care for all creatures.

Jennie is survived by her parents, Amine and Roula Jawhar; her brother, Toufic Jawhar; her sister, Judy Jawhar, and brother-in-law, Chris Spleit; her grandmother, Fahda Saba; her aunt and uncle, Roueida and Mounzer Zakhour; her cousins, Omar and Cecil Zakhour, and Eddy Fallah; along with her nephews, Atticus and Cassius Spleit. Jenny was predeceased by her aunt, Hilda Saba, and her aunt, Angel Fallah. Her wonderful personality and contagious laughter touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed. Rest in Peace, Jennie. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, Halifax, where visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 16th, from 5-8 p.m., with a funeral service on Thursday, November 17th, at Saint Antonios Antiochian Orthodox Church at 11 a.m.
