Following Heathers, Mean Girls, and Jennifer’s body is Netflix’s “Revenge,” a dark comedy about two high school girls teaming up to teach each other’s tormentors a lesson.
Riverdale’s Camila Mendes plays Drea, the former high school queen who gained notoriety after her boyfriend (Austin Abrams) released her six-band.
But her resistance quickly wanes when she teams up with newcomer Eleanor (Stranger Things’ Maya Hawke), who also wants revenge on her former bully, Karissa.
In addition to an interesting premise reminiscent of Alfred Hitchcock’s Stranger on a Train, and an all-star cast including Sarah Michelle Gellar and Sophie Turner , the film also has a killer soundtrack.
