Kyedae Shymko, better known as Kyedae, is a Japanese-Canadian Twitch Streamer and content creator for 100 Thieves. She is engaged to electronic sportsman TenZ.
Kyedae was introduced through a livestream from her then-boyfriend TenZ, where she learned how to play Valorant. As she progressed in the game, she started streaming alone, eventually meeting several players, including offline TV and friends, and building her own fan base.
Kyedae is known for her Valorant game and her goal is to reach Radiant. She also regularly streams with fiancé TenZ, and her offbeat, dirty sense of humor contrasts with TenZ’s clean image. She joined 100 Thieves in April 2021.
Kyedae’s mother is from Japan and her father is Ukrainian-Canadian. She has a younger sister, Sakura, who is also an anchor.
She first met TenZ where they met in high school. They started dating after hanging out together at a party.
Kyedae was first introduced on a TenZ stream, where he taught her how to play Valorant, which he competes for. However, she was not on the livestream as she is still very shy. She ended up making an appearance on a subsequent livestream with TenZ, before being encouraged to have her own streaming channel. Later, as she grew into a Valorant player, she began to develop her own fan base. She also occasionally streams and often shares her private life, such as cooking, with TenZ. Her sister, Sakura, also appears on some of her streams, often hiding when she needs to go to the bathroom or attend events of the day.
When the collective started playing Valorant on a regular basis, she met Offline TV and Friends, and she regularly attended their group’s “Noobs Vs. Pros” where she was part of “Noobs” on Offline TV and TenZ was part of “Professionals” .
She joined 100 Thieves in April 2021 as a content creator. She currently hosts two shows for 100 Thieves: the Boomer vs. Zoomer podcast with Peter Park and the cooking competition/talk show Vinnie & Kyedae…with KNIVES! with Vinnie Harker.
