The cybercriminals then informed her that she took out a loan of Rs 5,000 (yes, you read that right) and demanded that she pay it back. The person then warned that her photos would be circulated if she didn’t pay. Lakshmi appealed to her followers not to click on such deceptive links from strangers. She has registered a case with the Hyderabad Cybercrime Unit, which is investigating.
