Luenell Campbell, known mononymously as Luenell, is an American comedian and actress.
She is best known for her comedy appearances on the Kate Williams American Hustle live tour and DVD series, as well as appearing on episodes of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Funny or Dead Gifts. Earlier in her career, she starred in the movie So I Married Axe Murderer and also appeared on Soul Beat TV, a local TV show in Oakland, California.
She performed stand-up comedy on a Showtime special called Snoop Dogg Comedy Bad Girls. She voiced the shrunken head in the 2012 animated film Hotel Elf. Although she was born in Arkansas, she grew up primarily in Northern California. She later settled in Los Angeles with her daughter. She has worked with comedian Adam Sandler on several films, including Hotel Transylvania and That’s My Boy.
In this flashback, Luenell responds to Dwyane Wade’s announcement that his then 12-year-old son Zion has been transgender and will now be called “Zaya”, Luenell points out that when they are 12, people don’t know who they are Luenell explains Says she doesn’t think any parent will pray that their parents are gay or transgender, but she believes they should always accept them. She added that she was concerned about trans people being bullied, and Luenell believed the conversation should take place at home. This led Luenell to talk about certain topics that need to be discussed privately, especially on social media.
