Coach Krause is considered one of the greatest coaches and is considered by most to be the best youth wrestling coach in the country. His unique coaching skills and infectious positive attitude will help improve a wrestler’s skills on and off the mat! Michael (Mike) Krause has more than 30 years of experience in industrial hygiene practices in OSHA, the insurance industry, the aerospace industry and private consulting. He holds a Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) in Occupational Health and Safety from the University of Washington. He is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and a Registered Occupational Hygienist (ROH, Canadian degree). He is also licensed as a Mold Assessment Consultant (MAC) in Texas and as a Mold Assessor in Florida.

Mike conducts industrial hygiene assessments (including worker exposure monitoring and modeling), control recommendations and employer regulatory compliance training to address worker concerns and minimize risk. He has provided consulting services to heavy industries including aerospace, metals and wood products. Insurers, insureds and brokers; as well as schools, building owners and managers, contractors and government agencies. Mr. Krause has special expertise in assessing chromium, asbestos, lead, and solvent exposure; conducting noise testing in various workplaces; writing Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for pharmaceutical clients; and evaluating the use of personal protective equipment (respirators, earplugs, gloves); assess indoor air quality (IAQ) issues, mold, E. coli, Legionella, and hypersensitivity pneumonitis (HP).

Mike has assisted in litigation and testified in cases involving noise, asbestos, silica, chemicals, mold, and allergens. He has conducted original research, presented results, and written articles to support professional opinions. He is a full member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) and a member of the AIHA Noise Committee, Nanotechnology Working Group, Cannabis Working Group, and E-Cigarette Working Group.
