DeMario DeWayne White Jr, known professionally as Moneybagg Yo, is an American rapper. As part of a joint venture agreement with Interscope Records, he signed with the Memphis rapper Yo Gotti’s record label, Collective Music Group (CMG) [2]. His first two projects in the top 20, Federal 3X (2017) and 2 Heartless (2018), peaked at No. 5 and No. 16, respectively, on the Billboard 200. [5] His third album, Time Served, debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 in January 2020, while his fourth album, A Gangsta’s Pain, released in April 2021, became his The first chart-topping project.
DeMario DeWayne White Jr. was born on September 22, 1991 in South Memphis, Tennessee and grew up in the Walker Homes community.
His early mixtapes were released in 2012, including From Da Block 2 Da Booth and October 20. He released three more albums in 2016, one of which won Mixtape of the Year at the Memphis Hip-Hop Awards. Federal Reloaded is an adaptation of the first part of the Federal series, featuring cameos from Y Grizzle, Young Dolph, and OG Boo Dirty, among others. Successor ELO includes cameos by Yo Gotti and Quavo by Migos. His collaboration with Yo Gotti continued with a collaborative project called 2 Federal, which was released in October 2016. Heartless arrived in February 2017 and peaked at No. 177 on the Billboard 200. The mixtape features cameos by YFN Lucci and Lil Durk. In October 2017, Moneybagg released the Federal 3X, his debut since signing a distribution deal with Interscope. The mixtape contains a single feature from YoungBoy Never Broke Again.
