Veteran Sri Lankan singer Nuwan Gunawardena passed away tonight (8 December).
He was being treated in a Colombo hospital when he died, according to his family.
Gunawardena is also one of the main playback singers in Sri Lankan Sinhala films and is known for his popular songs like “Pawee Giyawe”, “La Sanda Eliye”, “Sanda Men Bala”.
