Jahron Anthony Brathwaite, known professionally as PartyNextDoor, is a Canadian singer and record producer.

PartyNextDoor was the first artist to be signed to Drake’s OVO Sound record, a joint venture with Warner Music in 2013. Later that year, he released his first EP, called PartyNextDoor. He then released PartyNextDoor Two and PNDColors in 2014, and PartyNextDoor 3 in 2016. He also found success as a songwriter after writing “Work,” which was released on Rihanna’s album Anti and became one of them at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. The most successful song of the year, and number two on the Billboard Hot 100 for “Wild Thoughts.”
Yearon Anthony Brathwaite was born in Mississauga, Ontario to a Jamaican motherand a Trinidadian father. He was inspired by the music his father played for him when he was young, such as Jodeci, Boyz II Men, Blackstreet and 112.
After conducting electronically-influenced R&B under his real name Jahron Brathwaite, at 18, he signed a publishing deal with Warner/Chappell as a songwriter under the name PartyNextDoor. His first mixtape, PartyNextDoor, was released on the iTunes Store on July 1, 2013.
It debuted on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums Chart with sales of 2,000 copies and reached number 34 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart for the week of July 20, 2013. He served as backing vocals on “Own It” and “Come Thru” on Drake’s third studio album, Nothing Was The Same.
