In Loving Memory of Julia Marie Beltz (April 24, 1990 – December 30, 2023) 🕊️

It is with heavy hearts that we remember the beautiful soul, Julia Marie Beltz, who departed from this world on December 30, 2023, surrounded by the love of family at the Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio. Julia, aged 33, faced a valiant battle against breast cancer, a fight she approached with the same courage, boldness, and unwavering compassion that defined her life.

Born on April 24, 1990, in Walnut Creek, California, to Daniel “Dan” Dove and Ellen Ruppel, Julia’s early years were marked by the warmth of family, the beauty of California’s landscapes, and the close bond she shared with her sister, Leah. From caring for friends to creating home videos with her loved ones, Julia’s adventurous spirit and zest for life were evident from a young age.

The family later moved to Ohio, where Julia graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School and earned her Bachelor’s degree from Kent State University in 2012. Julia, a proud “Flash,” then made Columbus her home. Her professional journey took her to Abercrombie & Fitch, where she not only excelled in her role but also formed cherished friendships that would accompany her throughout adulthood. In 2021, Julia embraced new horizons with Toast, where her passion for work and dedication left an indelible mark on colleagues and projects alike.

Despite her diagnosis in October 2022, Julia approached life with an insatiable curiosity, devouring books and challenging conventional thinking. Her positive impact on others and the loving memories she created will resonate for years to come. Julia’s legacy is one of resilience, love, and the joy she found in every moment.

Julia is survived by her beloved family: her husband, parents, sister, and cherished dog, Chester. As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the vibrant, caring, and exceptional person that Julia Marie Beltz was—a beautiful soul who left an enduring imprint on the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in eternal peace.
