In fact, the real news was the death of Shilpa Shetty’s dog, Princess Shetty Kundra. Shilpa called the dog her “first child”.
Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra’s 10-year-old son, Viaan, has started a business. On Aug. 28, Shetty posted a video announcing her son’s entrepreneurial idea and showing off a pair of sneakers he designed just for her. Viaan sells personalized merchandise under the name VR KICKSS starting at Rs 4,999.
Shilpa shared the video and wrote: “My son Viaan-Raj’s first unique business venture, @vrkickss ‘creating custom sneakers’ is always about encouraging little ones and their big dreams. From project ideas and Concept to design and even video…it’s all his! Entrepreneur and director.
Shilpa Shetty’s post has already caught the attention of some “verified” accounts. Bollywood celebrities such as Abhishek Bachchan, Farah Khan, Amit Sadh and Terence Lewis have already raved about the video of Viaan gifting his mother a pair of sneakers. Aunt Shamita Shetty said she couldn’t wait to get her custom shoes.
In the video, Viaan says the only animal he could think of when designing for his mother was a tiger. So he matched the sneakers to the theme.
The business of custom sneakers is booming in India. Some of the biggest names in Indian business include Chaitanya Dixit, Saigun Grover, Sanaya Irani and Sugandha Tyagi. Dixit has been running a company called CHE since 2019. CHE has caught the attention of Bollywood celebrities such as Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh.
