Margaret, born on March 15, 1924, in Bude, MS, was the cherished daughter of Mark Alexander Sullivan and Marvel Neal Sullivan. A graduate of Prentiss High School and Copiah-Lincoln Junior College, she embarked on a life journey intertwined with love, family, and service.

She met her beloved husband, Troy B. Watkins, at college, and together they navigated life’s adventures. Margaret took pride in her role as a devoted wife, co-operating Natchez Tobacco and Specialty Company with Troy and later managing four convenience stores in the area.

Margaret’s spiritual home was Grace United Methodist Church, where she devoted 60 years of her life. Her service extended to teaching, playing the piano for various choirs and services, and serving as an officer in the Grace United Methodist Women.

She often spoke of her primary goal in life: raising her five children with values that would reflect credit upon her, her husband, and their hometown. A goal she undoubtedly achieved.

Margaret was preceded in death by her loving husband, Troy B. Watkins, her parents, a brother and his wife, Walter Neal Sullivan and Judyne Stringer Sullivan, and a sister, Bobby Joyce Sullivan Inabnet.
